Mercy Hospital: Enhancing Healthcare Access and Quality

In late 2024, Mercy Hospital had the honor of welcoming a surgeon, Dr. Brandon Stringer, MD, and his surgical first assist nurse, Amber Bowen, BSN. Their practice is primarily based in McPherson, yet their commitment to enhancing healthcare accessibility has led them to expand their services first to Hillsboro, and now, Moundridge.

Dr. Stringer will be available at Mercy Hospital 1-2 Thursdays of each month. His presence will allow for minor surgeries, procedures, and consultations to be conducted locally, in addition to the procedures already being performed by the PIFC physicians. For surgeries requiring facilities in McPherson, pre and post-operative visits can still be coordinated at Mercy, ensuring continual patient care close to home.
