McPherson Hospital, Lindsborg Community Hospital, and Mercy Hospital are working together and seeking community input as part of the 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), to assess local conditions impacting health, such as the access to healthy foods and staying physically active in McPherson County.

Over the next few months, McPherson Hospital, Lindsborg Community Hospital, and Mercy Hospital will be working together, along with area community leaders, to update the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) for McPherson County, KS. Today we are requesting community input regarding the healthcare delivery and unmet needs necessary to complete this assessment update. VVV Consultants LLC, an independent research firm from Olathe, KS has been retained to conduct this countywide research.

The goal of this assessment update is to understand progress in addressing community health needs cited in 2013, 2016, 2019, and 2022 assessment reports, while collecting up-to-date community health perceptions and ideas.

 

A brief community survey has been developed to accomplish this work. You can participate in several different ways, including visiting the Hospitals websites, the Facebook pages, clicking this link, or simply scanning the QR code below.

All community residents and business leaders are encouraged to complete this online survey by December 18th, 2024. In addition, a CHNA Town Hall meeting to discuss the survey findings will be held on Friday, February 21st, 2025, for lunch from 11:30-1:00pm. More information to come.
